I was affected by what now seems like a routing problem on Wednesday night, which left me unable to access my site and slow on some other sites.
I still had the same problem Thrusday morning, so I cloned the MAC address of my PC on my router and rebooted the modem, which, has seem to put me on to a part of the network not effected.
But the problem seems to be still on going. The Register (theregister.co.uk) has put up a story here.
Which doesn’t look good. Others customers are reporting on Virgin Media forum that they having problems with other sites.
At the time of writing this Virgin Media service status say it should be fixed by 6pm today (3rd June).
Update:
I change my router MAC back to the default one on the 4th June 2011 and it was all working again, as normal.
